2020 F-150 Features

Performance

The 2020 Ford F-150 truck's power comes from its industry respected powerhouse engine. And depending on your hauling needs and preferences, you have a lineup of six possible engine choices.

The standard engine is the 3.3 Liter Ti-VCT V6 gas-powered engine that delivers a reliable 290 horsepower with 265 lb.-ft of torque.

If you were to choose the 5.0 Liter Ti-VCT V8 engine, you'd have 395 horsepower with 400 lb.-ft of torque able to pull up to 11,100 pounds of towing capability. Fuel consumption is at 17 miles per gallon in the city and 23 on the highway.

Safety

The new F-150 has a comprehensive driver-assist technology providing you with another layer of security and practicality. Its cameras and radar keep a constant watch over what's around your truck. These sensors allow for safer driving on the roads of Paterson when you're pulling a trailer, going up a hill or changing lanes.

The Blind Spot Information System, or BLIS, watches cross-traffic constantly and alerts the driver promptly. It even stops the truck when a collision is imminent, even when nearby cars are near the trailer you're pulling.

The Hill Descent Control manages the truck's speed relative to its load or trailer as it descends down the hill.

As for practicality, a video with markers, sensors, and intelligence can readily steer your truck with its trailer safely as you back up using its Pro Trailer Backup Assist.

Design

The 2020 Ford F-150 stays bold and tough from its front mesh grille, muscled body, wide side-mirrors, and its spacious bed behind the cabin. Its body is made from high strength military-grade aluminum alloy.

The new F-150 has the Boxlink system. These are four structurally mounted plates by the side with specially designed durable cleats allowing you to tie most anything behind your truck. It also has flatbed and tailgate LED lights for when you need to work or hitch your trailer at night.

The 2020 F-150 tailgate has its own Integrated Tailgate Step that's manually pulled out and easily folded back in. This feature makes it easier for anyone to get up on the flatbed.

The 2020 Ford F-150 interior is abundantly spacious with an optional twin-panel moonroof. The back seat can fold up, and both front and rear seats can be heated, including the steering wheel.
